SEMINAR ACTIVITIES
The English department of M.H.D.Mahavidyalaya,Chhatia, Jajpur conducted there National level seminars in the last six years and six internal seminars in every year to develop the internal quality of the students. The National level scholars and the resource persons wine invited for the same.
CULTURAL FUNCTIONS
The cultural functions like the celebration of the “Ganesh Puja” in the month of September, The “Saraswati Puja” in the month of February , “The Teachers’ Day” in the month of 5th September are being regularly conducted in the department develop the moral and religious outlook of the students.
CONDUCT OF FAREWELLS AND WELCOME CEREMONY
The English department conducts the farewell ceremony for the +3 3rd year students and the welcome ceremony to the +3 1st year students in every year to develop the fellow feeling and harmony among the students.
THE STUDY TOUR
The English department oranges timely study tours and picnics to develop the external outlook and experiences about the historical spots of the state and outside.

MONTHLY UNIT TESTS OF THE STUDENTS
The Department teachers make sincere efforts’ to make monthly unit tests of the students of +3 1st year, +3 2nd year ,+3 3rd year to make them keep regular touch with the course prescribed.
REFRESHER AND ORIENTATION OF THE STAFF
The teachers of our department attend the refresher and or dentition programmer from time to time to keep them update with the development of English language.
